Sri Lanka Targets F-4S Drive in 2013 And F1H2O Grand Prix

ABU DHABI, Monday, 29 October: On-going talks between H2O Racing and one of the UIM's newest national authorities, the Lanka Powerboat Association, are well underway to placing a Sri Lankan driver into the F-4S Eurofin Trophy series in 2013.

The move follows Sunday's lavish launch at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel on the banks of Lake Beira, in Colombo to mark the Lanka Power Boat Associations arrival onto the international powerboat stage.

The Lanka Power Boat Association unveiled its long term plans to invited guests, with a round of the World's leading single-seater circuit racing Championship, F1H2O, top of their list of future attractions.

Prasanne Ranaweera, President of Lanka Power Boat Association said the launch was all about 'enhancing awareness and generating interest in powerboat racing as well as attracting members into the association.'
