Double World Champion Carella Receives Award In Monaco

MONACO, Sunday, 24 February: Double World Champion Alex Carella joined a gathering of worthy Champions from around the World to be honoured at the UIM 4^th annual Awards Giving Gala in Monaco.

Team Qatar's Italian race ace became only the third driver in the history of the F1H2O World Championship to win back-to-back World titles, 2011 and 2012, and joins two of the sport's greats, Renato Molinari who achieved the feat in 1983 and 1984 and ten-time winner Guido Cappellini who won four in a row from 1993 to 1996, completing a hat-trick of wins from 2001 to 2003.
