Matthew started his racing career in the J250 Junior class in 2005 and remained in this until the latter part of 2008 when after his 16th birthday he was able to move to F4 class racing a Burgess hull powered by a Yamaha 70 Hp engine. Unfortunately a number of technical problems over the last two years have prevented any consistent run of results but it is hoped that after a winter of testing and preparation 2011 will result in success on the water. Matthew hopes to take part in all rounds of the final F4 World Championships during 2011. Matthew is currently taking a year out of education but hopes to return to further education next year.
