JEDDAH NAMED BEST NEW ORGANIZER





Sharjah, December 22, 2025 – Jeddah has been named Best New Organizer in F1H2O history during the F1H2O World Championship’s annual End-of-Season Gala Dinner, held in Sharjah following the Road to Sharjah – Grand Prix of Sharjah, which officially brought the 2025 season to a close.
The special award was presented to representatives of Jeddah Season and Promedia Portal in recognition of the outstanding organization and delivery of the inaugural Grand Prix staged in the Red Sea city. The event marked a successful return of the championship to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, setting new benchmarks in terms of organization and presentation.
Speaking during the ceremony, Nicolo di San Germano, Founder of H2O Racing, praised the Saudi delegation for delivering an event that met the championship’s highest organizational standards. He also highlighted the overall quality of the Jeddah race weekend, including the premium VIP hospitality programme and the FLOAT Music Festival that concluded the event, reinforcing the strong impression made by the Grand Prix.
The glittering ceremony brought together drivers, team representatives and international VIP guests, alongside distinguished local and international dignitaries, for an evening celebrating the successful conclusion of the 2025 F1H2O World Championship season. The progr amme featured live entertainment, local cuisine and a fireworks display, culminating in the presentation of the season’s awards.
All teams competing in the 2025 championship were recognized for their participation across every round of the season. In addition, local promoters from the 2025 calendar were formally honoured, with awards presented to the organizers of the Grand Prix of Sharjah, the Grand Prix of Shanghai and the Grand Prix of Jeddah.
During his address, di San Germano paid special tribute to Sharjah, describing it as “the university of local organizers” of the F1H2O World Championship and recognizing its long-standing role as the benchmark of excellence for event organization, making it the natural and symbolic host of the season-ending awards.
